PL-interest Privacy Notice
Purpose: The information you provide will be used by the University to provide a forum for discussion among people interested in programming languages research. Legal basis: It is in the legitimate interest of the University to provide a forum for discussing programming languages. Sharing: We do not intentionally share your information with any third party. Other members of the list may learn you are a member, or learn your email address, if you respond to the list. As with any form of communication, by responding to the list, your action may lead to others learning information about you disclosed by your communication. If you don't want others to learn this information, don't respond to the list. Retention: We need to store your email address in order to send you messages. We do not collect any other personal information besides what you choose to provide through the list management interface. If you don't want to continue receiving messages, use the instructions on this page to unsubscribe. You have the right to unsubscribe at any time. If you unsubscribe, your email address will no longer be stored in the mailing list system and you will stop receiving the messages. Mailing list messages are archived indefinitely as part of the default functioning of this service, for the convenience of list members. Only current list members are able to access these archives. Automated processing and profiling: We do not use profiling or automated decision-making processes. Your rights: If you encounter difficulties unsubscribing or with any other aspect of the list, please contact the list administrator at pl-interest-owner@inf.ed.ac.uk. Using PL-interest
To post a message to all the list members, send email to pl-interest@inf.ed.ac.uk. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to PL-interest
Subscribe to PL-interest by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
